Tone Bell (born Michael Anthony Bell, II.) is an American stand up comedian and actor. Tone began his career in the comedy clubs of Dallas, Texas. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, He won NBC Stand UP For Diversity Talent Search, where he was awarded a development deal from the network. Best known for his role as RJ the bartender in NBC’s sitcom Whitney, Bell has also appeared in other TV shows, including VH1’s Single Ladies, E!’s Love You, Mean It, Comedy Central’s Key and Peele and GSN’s Mind of a Man. Bell has also appeared on CBS’ Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson as a performer and guest. In 2014, Bell will host a hidden camera show, Jerks with Cameras, on MTV.
The comedian also has a web series on Russell Simmons new Youtube channel Def Digital called The Green Room.
